We are looking for full-time EVS Techs to join the team at Glendora. The EVS Tech will maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings. They will respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers, etc.
Duties and Qualifications:
- One year of knowledge within an acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices, and procedures preferred.
- Familiar with chemicals and other cleaning agents and uses them in accordance with label instructions and safety guidelines.
- Knowledgeable in proper infection control procedures related to position.
- Operates all power equipment as dictated by work assignment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
- Recognizes and performs duties which need to be done without being directly assigned. Establishes, organizes, and prioritizes work and time.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CHLB/Glendora Hospital roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CHLB/Glendora Hospital in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
