Glendora Hospital is searching for a Chief Nursing Officer to lead our Nursing team. The Chief Nursing Officer will develop department goals, objectives, standards of performance, policies and procedures including but not limited to:

  • Organize the department in accordance with administrative guidelines in order to provide specified nursing services to meet the legal, organizational, and medical staff requirements
  • Participate with other members of the executive council in developing the hospital’s strategic plan
  • Develop the nursing budget, functions in an advisory capacity to administration in evaluating proposed procedural changes as they relate to patient care
  • Direct the implementation and ensure compliance with standards of nursing practice that promote optimum health care delivery and improvement of the quality of patient care.
  • The Chief Nursing Officer will be responsible for CEU, Staff Development, Infection Control, and Psychiatric Emergency Services Clinicians.

Qualifications:

  • Current License as Registered Nurse in the State of California.
  • Master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred, bachelor’s degree required.
  • Five years prior experience in management/ administration in an inpatient hospital setting, previous psychiatric nursing experience highly preferred.
  • At minimum 4 years at the Director level of nurse administration
  • Current CPR BLS for healthcare provider card upon hire.
  • Must become CPI certified within 30 days of employment.
  • Previous experience managing Psychiatric Emergency Teams, preferred

Pay: $180,000 – $250,000 per year

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for Glendora Hospital, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that Glendora Hospital in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
