Job Summary
The Nursing Manager will be managing 2 units totaling of 63 beds of our high acuity Psychiatric Hospital. The Nurse Manager Coordinates the activities of nursing and collaborates with program staff with responsibility for outcome 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Provides direct medical and programmatic nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, participates in-patient and family teaching and discharge planning. Assumes responsibility for completing assigned duties and for supervision of non-licensed nursing staff, LVN’s, LPT’s, and staff RN’s.
Qualifications:
- Current CA R.N. license.
- Must have three years progressive psychiatric management experience
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Knowledge base of LPS. LA county LPS Preferred or obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to assess the age specific needs for all patients.
- Practices effective problem identification and resolution skills as a method of managing problems and conflicts. Consistently considers unit/program/department/facility goals as part of the problem solving/decision making process
Pay: $55.00 – $70.00 per hour
Schedule:
Varied schedule 4:00pm-12:00am
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CHLB/Glendora Hospital roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CHLB/Glendora Hospital in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
